Aragorn Company “In the Colors of Celtic Music”
With their Celtic, Medieval, Irish and South American sounds, these musicians will thrill you to the sound of bagpipes, quena, pan flute, singing, guitar, violin and percussion. Not to mention a very beautiful Dance and Fire Arts show with Séverine & Anaïg as well as with Célia for an Irish tap dance. ARAGORN will know how to stop time, the time of a moving, festive, joyful and unique concert to delight young and old. Show in the 1st part of the evening in the Jardin Chanoine Motte (7).

Troupe set in front of the Porte de Pignerol (8). Make-up stand, and show "at the frontiers of the imagination". Magic, dance, drama, juggling, acrobatics, ventriloquism...

Arthus Spectacle
Le tinel du Surgien (The Surgeon’s den), stand set up on Place Blanchard (1). The wish to care for your neighbour is great in your chest. Medical schools are far away and out of reach for your meagre purse. A solution: Become a surgeon! A hilarious show about our ancestors’ surgery !

Castle Carton Flowear
A little family break at Place d'Armes (4)! Drawing, colouring and assembling of 10 recycled cardboard pieces that will be used to build a fortified castle to take away as a souvenir of the celebration ! Duration of the activity: count at least 45 minutes, or even 1 hour, 1h30 ... depending on the inspiration and creativity of each of you. Dame FLoW and Messire Frédérick are waiting for you at their stand to guide you through the adventure!

Gruppo Storico Borgovecchio-Avigliana
In the heart of the city of Avigliana, along the ancient Via di Francia, stands the Borgo Vecchio, the first inhabited nucleus of the city and witness to centuries of history. Its distinctive colours, white and hers, are reminiscent of the warm tones of medieval architecture. The village logo, representing a mullioned window – a typical window of the time – symbolises the historical authenticity of the place. Once a vibrant social crossroads, Borgo Vecchio was teeming with merchants, artisans, pilgrims and wealthy bourgeois. Here was once an important hospital, an essential point of reference for the reception and care of pilgrims in transit. A network of relationships and services that has made the village a vital hub of the medieval city. Today, the Borgo Vecchio Cultural Association is committed to preserving and enhancing this heritage, keeping traditions alive and transforming them into opportunities for culture, encounter and participation for the whole community.

Kav'Alp, a local troupe of equestrian show enthusiasts. Come and discover equestrian jousting shows alongside our knights, as well as equestrian vaulting, traction... Not to mention dressage demos. Our horses, knights and princesses will take you on a journey...

L'ost de roy
Passing through the Porte d'Embrun (5), watched over by the king's guards, you can discover a medieval camp where children can try their hand at archery. If they are not well-behaved, they will be locked up in the prisoner's cage and paraded round the public square. The innkeeper will show you the technique to make chainmail, and the fencing master will show you the weapons used in the Middle Ages. In her amazing shop Dame Mano will tell you the history of ironing through the centuries, and a little further on, you will witness the weaving of a blanket in a poor family in the eleventh century. You will also learn how to build a bridge with simple materials. History and a lot of stories if you listen carefully...

LOST Association KYRIELLE

Lancia di san michele
This medieval camp, to be seen set up in the moat at the Porte de Pignerol (8), is offered by a troupe from Italy. The troupe offers various animations and activities: archery, introduction to combat, cooking, medicine, fighting near the portcullis, at the time of its descent, with another troop, music, etc... You need to go down into the moat to discover and take part in these activities.

Le Chant de l'Épée
Camp set up in the moat at Porte de Pignerol (8) and run by an association of enthusiasts created in 2008, based in Marseille and since 2019 in Pélissanne, specialising in medieval evocations of the thirteenth century. Our main activity is fighting. We also offer Medieval Camp real life activities: calligraphy, herbalism, medicine, leather work, haubergerie (chainmail work), dyeing and weaving demos, embroidery, public storyteller, chess games and other various medieval games...

Les Bouffons Font Leur Show
Damn, here they are, the king's jesters themselves. They have free rein and they are looking for inspiration from the public to brighten up the king's future evenings. Will they be able to entertain you with their tales, improvisations and juggling?

Les Gueux Du Dauphin
Coming from the depths of time, dragging their rags, snags and smiles forward, they will be very close to you and sometimes a little too close but always laughing and singing. Don't fear them when you meet them, they will simply try to make you forget time!

Les Mestel
Specialised in Middle-Ages games, they invite adults, children and toddlers to Placette des Cordeliers (2) to have fun as in times gone by.

Les tanneurs de drac - Legends of the South and Rumors of the North
In Occitania and Catalonia, "The Drac refers to a large number of legendary creatures, most of which are considered to be dragons representing the devil, linked to water and its dangers."
Tanneurs de Drac is the impromptu encounter between two cultures, Occitan and Celtic. A touch of rock, a touch of folk, Tanneurs de Drac provides tunes for dancing and drinking. They immerse you in, a tavern atmosphere. With Légendes du Sud and Rumeurs du Nord, Tanneurs de Drac takes the audience on a captivating journey. Each track tells a story supported by traditional instruments like the nickelharpa, the Catalan graille (gralla), the boha, the, sac de gemecs with modern arrangements.

Lothringen Landsknecht
Hunting camp set up at Porte d'Embrun (5). Les Simianes 1370-1400 is a historical association that presents a hunting camp based on the hunting book by Gaston Phébus in order to introduce and provide details on the practice of hunting at the end of the fourteenth century.

Maitre Chicotin – Confrerie Des Veilleurs Du Temps
The shop of Maître Chicotin, a tooth puller and barber is located on Place Blanchard (1) at the bottom of Cité Vauban . "Dental and barbering advice". The tooth-puller, without faith nor law, with radical methods. Unique in his own right, thanks to his humour and his historical references.

Medieval Coin Minting Workshop “Mint Your Denarius!”
The silver mine was a flourishing and highly organized operation from the Middle Ages (10th-13th centuries). The mine is mentioned as early as 1155 in a charter that grants the right to mint coins on behalf of the powerful of the time: the Church of Embrun and the lords of Dauphiné. The Argentière-la-Bessée Silver Mine has created a historical and experimental archaeology workshop: the making of deniers. Evocation of the technique of minting coins, and use of hammer and wedges to mint money. Each visitor will be able to leave with the result of their experience: their own medieval denarius (3€) ... but perhaps not in silver!

Small musical carousel with pedals, located in the Chanoine Motte garden (7). Carousel for children. Musical entertainment several times throughout the day on the carousel and nearby.
Dear me ! Here they are, the jesters of the king himself, having free rein to seek inspiration from the public in order to brighten up the future evenings of the king. Will they entertain you with their tales, their improvisations and their juggling ?

Paladin's Company
Initiatory chivalry course for children on Place Blanchard (1). The Paladin Troupe invites children aged 6 to 12 years old to come and discover the qualities required to become a valiant knight. Through 4 contests, this is an opportunity for them to test their bravery, strength, valour and skill in order to obtain a knight's diploma.

RENART
Storyteller who distills festive, joyful and instructive tales while meandering through town. Storytelling walks (tales on the move) in the Vauban city. On Saturday and Sunday, Maître Renart will also tell medieval tales (Chivalry, Beliefs, Peasantry) on rue du Pont d'Asfeld (more precisely in the Placette des Récollets, opposite the former restaurant Le Passage) that will immerse you in the atmosphere and feelings of the listeners from back along. Beautiful and very entertaining stories accessible to all.

The Italian flag throwers of Alba
Both on the move and in a fixed show, the Italian flag throwers of Alba will offer you magnificent figures and spectacular throws in coordination with their flags.

The Little Farm of Regains
Educational farm & Alpine traditions, located under the Porte d'Embrun (5). Julie the farmer, who came from the past, will make you discover everything there is to know about her old breed animals. After the "from sheep to ball" workshop on Friday afternoon, on Saturday and Sunday you will be able to meet her rams, goats, ducks, chickens, find out more and enjoy games and informative boards about Alpine traditions and farm animals!

Vaporium Company “Les Runaïnes”
Discover the Runaïnes in full pilgrimage! After each great cosmic cycle, the Lowlands Tribes’ druids hit the road to accomplish the mission entrusted to them by the Wise Men’s assembly. Traveling the wide world, their sacred mission is to green up cities, predict the future to those who want to know it and find the chosen one of THE quest. If, by chance, you come across them, don't hesitate to meet and greet them, they who are fleeing the modernity of our civilization as much as possible.

Vaporium Company “Portal”
After weeks of brotherly struggles, only two pretenders to the throne are left. The great Chat'man, representative of the god of Fire, then separates them in one last test: the trial of the Portal. Pyrotechnics, fire juggling and other magic tricks, find our Chats d'Outre Monde in this fully choreographed show, supported by an imposing scenography and a powerful tribal-pagan soundtrack. This juggler offers visitors "interactive juggling" at the Porte de Pignerol (8). Come and discover your hidden talents!
